Who are we?

La Vaca Independiente is an organization founded by Claudia Madrazo in 1992 with the intention of changing the relationship of human beings with art to contribute to its development.

Artists, communicators, philosophers, psicologists, historians and pedagogues, form La Vaca Independiente team. The team is convinced that in these times there is a need to create a new relationship with art. With this in mind, we have designed different projects to integrate art to our daily life and in this way develop intelligence, communication and sensibility.

The different activities of La Vaca Independiente are grouped in four areas: Education, Creative Services, Young Art and Press & Media. Withtin this divisions we develop creative projects at a private and public level in the national and international context.

Vaca Independiente is the name of a work by the artist Abel Quezada who taught us to see life and art with a sense of humor. Our enterprise bears this name as homage to the painter and cartoonist and in memory of his smile.
